Our Commitment to Child Safety
WeConnect is deeply committed to preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior that endangers children.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on WeConnect:
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Any content depicting or promoting sexual abuse of children, including but not limited to photos, videos, illustrations, or written content
Sexual Exploitation of Children
Content that sexually exploits or endangers children in any way
Grooming or Solicitation
Attempting to establish relationships with children for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation
Endangering Children
Any activity, content, or behavior that puts children at risk of harm
Age Restrictions
Adult-Only Service
WeConnect is designed exclusively for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from persons under 18 years of age.
Age Verification
We implement age verification measures during the account creation process. Users must confirm they are 18 years or older to use our service.
Immediate Suspension
Any account suspected of belonging to a minor is immediately suspended pending investigation.
Reporting Mechanism
We provide multiple ways for users to report concerning content or behavior:
In-App Reporting
Use the report button on any profile, message, or content that violates our child safety policy
Email Contact
Direct email reporting: safety@weconnect.com
Anonymous Reporting: All reports are treated confidentially. Users may report anonymously if they prefer.
Our Response Protocol
When CSAE is reported or detected, we take immediate action:
Immediate Content Removal
Reported content is immediately removed from our platform pending investigation
Account Suspension/Termination
The offending account is suspended or permanently terminated based on severity
Report to Authorities
We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies
Full Cooperation
We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and provide all necessary information
Detection and Prevention
Automated Scanning
We use industry-standard tools and technologies to detect CSAM, including PhotoDNA hash matching
Manual Review
Our trained safety team reviews reported content and suspicious activity
Proactive Monitoring
We continuously monitor for patterns and behaviors associated with child exploitation
Account Verification
Enhanced verification processes to ensure all users meet age requirements
User Education
We educate our community about child safety:
- Recognizing CSAE: How to identify and report concerning content or behavior

Legal Compliance
WeConnect complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding child safety, including:
- NCMEC Reporting: We file CyberTipline reports with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as required by law
- COPPA Compliance: We do not direct our services to children under 13 and do not knowingly collect information from children
- International Standards: We follow international guidelines and best practices for child online protection
